- Hard Drive
The hard drive is likely mechanical -- an older SATA drive. A newer sold state drive can read/write about 4 times as fast. Really speeds up an old system, making it seem like a new machine.- Fresh, optimized install of Windows 11
With time comes clutter, unused apps and downloads, stray garbage -- maybe malware or a virus... sometimes you just loose track. But you want to run clean and safe and fast.
Have me re-install. I'll back up your data, check it for malware/virus. Then give you a clean installation of Windows 11 with all the latest updates, all the latest drivers, with no junk, some good, useful software, on a "hardened" install.- Cost
If you need an SSD, I charge $80 total. $40 for a 250GB SSD, and $40 for the re-install. Ready in 24 hours.
(The deal does not work if you are not running at least Windows 10. Windows 7 or 8 would entail a licence fee. I don't sell licenses. Also keep in mind that due to AI demands, the prices on drives may increase again in the near future. I'll update this page if I am forced to raise the price. So hurry up!)- Conclusion
